Services

Domestic abuse, sexual assault, stalking, and dating violence can happen to anyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, income, or religious beliefs. Safe Harbor is a welcoming and safe space for everyone.

Safe Harbor is a nonprofit organization that provides shelter, supportive services, and advocacy to survivors in Davis County. We also provide education, awareness, and resources to our community.

Our dedication to these objectives reflects our belief in the right of all individuals to a self-determined life free of violence.

Since the doors to the shelter opened in 1997, our services have continued to grow and evolve to meet the complex needs of domestic violence survivors, sexual assault survivors, children impacted by violence, and our community.

Domestic Violence Services

The Office on Violence Against Women defines domestic violence as a pattern of abusive behavior in any relationship that is used by one partner to gain or maintain power and control over the other.

Sexual Assault Services

Safe Harbor’s Sexual Assault Services Program is here to help and support anyone who has experienced sexual violence, whether it was today or twenty-years ago.
